Clean and Green

This school year, the Active Citizens club is involved in the 1Planet4All project, which falls under People in Need, the Variants educational program. Throughout the year, students create a long-term project from the beginning, which aims to raise people’s awareness of climate change. Based on this, a project day was created during distance learning, which was organized by Active Citizens students, when they created several workshops dealing with this issue and educated their classmates about individual problems. The project included, among other things, mapping the Ostrava community. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey and the outputs from the project day, a three-week project called Clean & Green was created.

Clean & Green
Clean and Green is an online challenge designed to raise awareness of climate change and provide some advice and tips on how to reduce our carbon footprint.
The call will run for three weeks on our instagrams @ active.iso and @ 1stiso, but also on Facebook. Everyone can participate! Students, teachers, parents, siblings and in fact the whole family and friends!

The first week starts on 24.5.2021. Getting involved is easy. Just complete the tasks and create a creative post on your Instagram or Facebook, thanks to which we will find out that you have participated. In our post, mark our instagram @ active.iso and add the hashtag of a specific week (# isocleanandgreen1, # isocleanandgreen2, # isocleanandgreen3).

There will be a draw at the end of each week. The winner can look forward to a symbolic prize and a certificate to contribute to a good cause.
