Library

We believe that a library is the heart of school in 21st century. Our Library is an open, transparent and barrier-free space which calls our students to study here, it supports them in their research work, it enables their creative process and cooperation between themselves, teachers and the whole school community. It connects the best of physical and digital worlds and creates a learning centre of 21st century. Our Library inspires students to build their knowledge and skills from the world around them. There are debates and workshops taking places here and many interesting people from all spheres of life have been with us here – culture, media, sport, health, civil rights, NGOs.

We have a rich deposit of books in Czech and English language, moreover, with many present books from nowadays and therefore it supports the natural development of literature. For example, you can find graphic novels which is a genre common in the literature classes now.

As one of several schools in the Czech Republic we have Václav Havel Little Library which was donated to us due to intensive and meaningful cooperation with Václav Havel Library in Prague. One can find many titles published in this publishing house and institution which main mission is to support and spread awareness of democracy and freedom in the Czech Republic. Václav Havel Library
