We are working on our Erasmus+ project, where students from Italy are creating story books with our students. Our new Erasmus+ project guides students towards critical thinking and personal and social identity through storytelling. This week we are trying to introduce important Czech personalities to Italian students through storytelling.
We had a busy second day of our Italian Erasmus week. In the morning, students worked on a joint project focused on storytelling. In the afternoon, we visited Vitkovice industrial heritage site and the Science and Technology Center, where we discovered the industrial history of Ostrava. After dinner, we enjoyed a mini golf tournament.
On the third day, as part of our Czech – Italian Erasmus project, we took a day trip to Brno. We toured the fascinating Villa Tugendhat and visited the Saint Jacob Ossuary. The tour of Brno helped Italian students learn more about Czech history and culture. We enjoyed the trip very much.
We spent the last morning of our Erasmus project with Italian students presenting projects about important Czech personalities. Then the students spent the afternoon with their host families, where they enjoyed typical Czech meals and got to know the surroundings of Ostrava. In the evening we got together for a bowling tournament and the final dinner. We would like to thank our Italian partners from Pesaro for their cooperation and look forward to visiting Italy.
