Excursion / Department of Chemistry at the University of Ostrava

Our students of the science seminar took part in an excursion to the Department of Chemistry at the University of Ostrava. In the beginning they had a lecture with the doc. Slovák about the conditions of studying at universities. This was followed by laboratory exercises, namely spectacular experiments with fire, determination of energy value of gummy bears and in the biochemical part determination of amino acids in flour. We are very grateful to all the organizers, especially to Mrs. Trčková, who facilitated the excursion.
