From the moment I first stepped onto the 1st International School of Ostrava grounds, I knew it was the right place for me. It has everything one could wish for – a pleasant, inspirational environment; kind, welcoming staff; thoughtful and talented students. After ten years spent abroad, I was a bit apprehensive about returning to my home city. Luckily, ISO took all my fears away. It is a cosmopolitan place with a plethora of nationalities, languages and cultures, a place where no day is like another because there’s always something going on, there’s always something interesting to look forward to. It’s obvious at first glance that people enjoy being here and that they like each other.
