Public Event of DIME Project – (Re)Make the Truth

The overall aim of the event:

  • introduction to media literacy
  • project dissemination
  • public debate about the profession of a photographer and his/her perspectives of taking pictures and finding the truth behind them

The aim / description of each session:

  1. Official Introduction – welcome and line up of the evening, why Mr Straka, why ISO
  2. Key Speaker Ivo Helebrant – aim of DIME, stages of DIME, stages of ISO within DIME, why of the project in connection with ISO a´mission and aims
  3. Key Speaker Martin Straka – his journey to become a photographer, his visions of being a good and present-day photographer all around the world, his views and perspectives when taking a picture, what is behind a picture, context of realia when photographing in different places of different countries, cultures, areas of interest (music, sport, life)
  4. Debate – Questions and Answers Session and final evaluation of the event
