This year, our students again learned about human rights from the most knowledgeable: Karim Khan – chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Evgenia Kara-Murza – wife of this year’s laureate of the Russian opposition politician Vladimir Kara-Murza’s Prize, Denys Rabomizo – representative of the Ukrainian coalition At 5 o’clock in the morning, collecting evidence of human rights violations by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Áaron Demeter- representative of the Hungarian rainbow coalition defending LGBTQIA+ rights, Veronika Bílková- professor of international law focusing on international security and human rights, vice president of the European Society for International Law, Vladimír Dzuro – former investigator of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Tomáš Holub – Catholic priest and bishop of Pilsen, the first Czech military chaplain. We thank the Václav Havel Library for the fact that we could once again be in this inspiring company.
